Summary

The last two years have been a whirlwind. Dental hygiene is so much more than I could have ever imagined. A dental hygienist not only cleans teeth but must be able to teach patients, know dental terminology, know whole body health, know nutrition, be able to pinpoint areas of concern, connect what is happening to a patient and why, problem solve, and more. Dental hygiene school has taught me so much. When I think back to when I held an instrument for the first time I can not help but think how far I have come. I am excited to step into this amazing work force. I can finally call myself Kendall Pezzani, Registered Dental Hygienist.
